We are pleased to share a significant win by our firm in a high-stakes land dispute involving prime property located in Runda Estate, Nairobi.
The matter concerned three competing claimants, each in possession of a Certificate of Title over the same parcel of land — a situation that raised critical legal questions around fraudulent land allocation, double registration, and the sanctity of title.
Our Partner, Nancy Karanu, acted on behalf of one of the rightful claimants and led the case with exceptional skill and diligence. After a contested hearing and detailed scrutiny of the titles and supporting documents, the court found in favour of our client.
In a well-reasoned judgment, the court cancelled the other two titles, confirming that our client was the legitimate and lawful owner of the property.
This case is a strong affirmation of the legal principle that fraud vitiates title, and reinforces the importance of due diligence in land transactions. We congratulate our client on the outcome and commend Nancy Karanu for her outstanding representation.
